For the most part great staff, friendly and informative. I am not a huge fan of the check in procedure. Lots of people cut in front of others since there really is no organized line. The Doctors and nurses I have seen have all been great.
Drs. and nurses at cancer center could not be better! Very caring gentle people!
The staff and care received at this hospital was excellent. We had to check my wife in on a Wed. night at 10:30 and was amazed at the amount of staff for that time of night. Everyone that treated her or looked after her that night and the next three days should be commended. The knowledge and caring of every one who treated or interacted with myself or my wife was well above average. They took great pains to keep my wife and myself informed of all procedures that were done. I have no complaints.
My parents and I were treated wonderfully while here for my dad’s procedure. The entire staff was thoughtful and should be commended. We were made to feel so comfortable ( asking if the temperature was comfortable, offering my mom and I coffee and helping us carry our belongings from one waiting area to another. ) Everyone was so friendly and assuring during a time that can be stressful and concerning.
My Experience with Dr. here have not been pleasent however... My husband went in to ER and was in Emergency Surgery by the time I got the call and got to Hospital (35min) and the Urologist Dr. On-Call was Dr. Johnson he was awesome! My husband's labs came back as he had a type of bacteria in his blood stream that was unknown to everyone else he had seen Dr. Johnson vowed to keep him until they figured it out and he was better. They grew culture out twice and tried every antibiotic known and available to them and still no results. Dr. Johnson ended up coming up with his own concoction formula of Antibiotics and in 2 days of him doing a Ct finding he had a tumor secreting bacteria into bloodstream concocting antibiotics and IV treating him he was finally not sick and was referred to and Endocrine Dr. and released!! My baby sister went in to have her baby and her BP was through the roof when nurse took it she got a new bp cuff it was so high she thought it was broke however new cuff still read 274/168 an my sister was at very extreme risk of stroke or seizuring so immediately The Room filled with a Great Team from OB dept. Lead By Dr. Shultz OBGYN I believe she is. She has been beyond awesome at her job explaining and taking all precautions to ensure the safety and health of Baby and My Sissy!! Her bedside manors are excellent however Dr. Meyer I wouldn't recommend to take care of my worst enemies pets... She's very rude no bedside manors and had she actually looked at my sister's charts she'd known the situation wasn't anyone's fault it simply happened but immediately started scolding her for some stupid testing she didn't do during prenatal care due to the envasiveness of it and not having access to a location that did said testing! So if you have Dr. Meyer or Dr. Miller whom wants to take my overies out every pap I get when I'm only 35 and have no children...and I guarentee I'm not the only one he's tried coning a historectimy when it is completely unessasary....
Great experiences at St Agnes. I see a lot of reviews on here with unrealistic expectations of a hospital and its staff. I have been to a couple different Agnesian clinics and had to wait to be called because other patients had triage priority....big deal. I have also witnessed patients being rude or demanding to staff. Yeah, I didn't feel good either but I didn't bite the hand that was helping me. My visits were cut and dry, always accurately diagnoses. Even if I would have had to come back due to not feeling better after several days or whatever, misdiagnosis happens. 10 different doctors are presented the same handful of symptoms, ten different outcomes are reached...medicine is a science but it isn't as simple as math. 2 plus 2 always eqals 4 but in medicine, 2 plus 2 can be any number of answers that aren't necessarily 4. Be nice to the staff at our community hospital, they are clearly trying their best to make sure we are welll taken care of, even if it takes longer than we want. Remember, there are other people being seen or those who take priority over us due to severity of illness.
The icu unit team are God 's angles. They saved Bruce s life. Very loving and caring. Thank you
Doc Lilli is the best from the Garcia family
